If the power fails, emergency lighting keeps escape routes visible and lets people leave a building safely. For almost all commercial premises it is a legal requirement under fire-safety legislation, and it must be installed, maintained and tested to BS 5266.
Design and installation
We design and install emergency lighting for offices, shops, warehouses, factories, HMOs and communal areas, escape-route luminaires, exit signage, and open-area (anti-panic) lighting positioned correctly at exits, stairs and changes of level.
Testing, certificates and log books
Emergency lighting needs a brief monthly function test and a full annual duration test. We carry out both, provide the certificate you need to demonstrate compliance, and can set up or maintain your log book. We'll also put right any faults found during testing.
